Tulsa Workshop and Stuff

I must say the the Tulsa Workshop was once again awesome. Only bad part was that my family wasn’t able to come. We have gone to the workshop as long as I can remember and I must say that it was definitely a different feeling without them. But you know how life goes. My mom just started her new job (Yay Mom!), and my dad is still in the infancy of his new ministry in Mississippi (Yay Dad!), so neither felt they could get away for a couple of days. I love going to the workshop every year. The speakers are great, and I always hear someone I had not heard before that really draws. This year it was Mark Moore. I don’t know why but he really intrigued me. I also got to hear Craig Hicks for the first time in a long time. Although the lesson was directed toward teens, it still was encouraging. It didn’t take long for me to remember why Craig was my favorite growing up. Wade Hodges’ class on the perfect prayer was one of my favorite classes I’ve ever heard. You must find some way to listen to this class. You have no choice. Go do it! Now! As someone who needs all the help I can get when it comes to prayer, it was ever helpful that prayer was the theme this year. I ran into Clyde Slimp at the workshop, which was pretty neat. It was his first time there and he seemed to be enjoying himself. Also ran into John Dobbs, which is always a neat experience. He is a fun guy for sure. Anyway gotta go to class. Hope to see you all very soon. Oh yeah, if you read this Dad, you should really consider starting a blog.
